BCA Time Deposit
BCA Time Deposit is a term deposit product that allows deposits and withdrawals at specified times.
Key Features
- It is available in 9 currencies: Rupiah (IDR), United States Dollar (USD), Singapore Dollar (SGD), Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Japanese Yen (JPY), Great Britain Pound sterling (GBP), Euro (EUR), and Chinese Yuan (CNH).
- There are 2 Time Deposit options available for individual customers, namely with a physical certificate (bilyet) or without a certificate. Time Deposits without a certificate may only be opened in Rupiah (IDR).
- There is a flexible term option of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months.
- Competitive interest rates.
- Time Deposits with a certificate may be used as collateral for credit facilities.
- The guaranteed interest rate is based on the applicable interest rate information available on the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) website.
Benefits
- The customer will receive information on Time Deposit opening in the form of:
- a Time Deposit Certificate (Bilyet Deposito) for customers opening a Time Deposit with a certificate; or
- a Time Deposit Advice for Customers opening a Time Deposit without a certificate and requesting the printing of a Time Deposit Advice.
- An investment option for customers.
- Freedom to select your preferred rollover type, such as:
- Automatic rollover with monthly interest credited to the source account (ARO)
- Automatic rollover with interest added to the principal during each rollover (ARO Plus).
- Interest is transferred monthly, and the principal is transferred upon maturity to the registered account (Non-ARO).
- Customers may receive information and offers related to BCA products and services.
Risks
- LPS does not guarantee savings accounts with balances exceeding IDR2 billion and interest rates exceeding the interest rate set by LPS.
- Interest will not be paid if the customer disburses funds before maturity.
- The deposit interest rates provided are in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions at BCA and are subject to change at any time based on market conditions, as communicated through BCA’s information channels.
- For Foreign Currency Deposits (Valas), which are savings in foreign currencies, exchange rate fluctuations will occur in line with market conditions.
Requirement and Procedure
- Deposit opening is reserved for individual customers and corporate customers.
- Fill out and sign the account opening application form.
- Individual prospective customers are given an option to open a deposit account without a certificate, with requirements as follows:
- Must have a BCA account in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) as the source account and the account for deposit disbursement, and
- The owner of the source account must be the same as the owner of the Time Deposit. If the deposit is opened under the names of 2 (two) customers, then the account that may be used as the source account is an account owned by one of the customers or a joint account owned by both customers.
- For corporate customers:
- The company representatives who have the authority to represent the deposit opening are required to provide the individual customer's data.
- The deposit opening can be authorized by including a Power of Attorney from the authorized party to open an account.
- Meet minimum initial placements.
- Prepare the necessary documents.

- Corporate customers with NIB documents issued before February 2, 2021, must obtain an operational license from an authorized agency.
- Corporate customers with NIB documents issued since February 2, 2021, and those with medium to high risk levels, are required to prepare additional licensing documents that refer to the Risk-Based Business Licensing Document PP No. 5 of 2021.
