However, the surge in digital banking usage has been accompanied by a significant rise in cybercrime and fraud risks. Internet banking logins are key vulnerabilities that are frequently targeted by cybercriminals, particularly through credential theft methods such as phishing and social engineering.
To enhance security, starting April 8, 2025, myBCA Bisnis has implemented additional safeguards. Customers will now be required to verify unusual or new login attempts via a email OTP (One Time Password) and/or a QR code scan through the myBCA Bisnis Lite app.
For those who are not myBCA Bisnis Lite users, the system will send an OTP to the email address registered to their ID.
myBCA Bisnis Lite users will see a unique QR code displayed on the website. Customers can simply scan using the myBCA Bisnis Lite app. The app will then generate an OTP code for you to enter on the myBCA Bisnis website.
The implementation of multi factor authentication for myBCA Bisnis logins is part of BCA's ongoing commitment to safeguarding its services and providing customers with a protected transaction experience.
